A great morning at the Your Partnerships City Networking event at Truro Cathedral

This is a new Your Partnership event to bring businesses in the city together with businesses across Cornwall in the most iconic of settings, right in the centre of Truro.

It was great to see lots of new faces and catch up with old faces, returning to the networking scene after a very turbulent couple of years.

The icing on the cake was a tour of the Cathedral including a visit up to the top of the iconic tower via 300 very narrow spiral steps. We were shown the progress of the roof renovations and a view of the inside of the cathedral from the top - the tour is not for the faint hearted but if you're ever in Truro and fancy a look book yourself on a tour!!

Did you know the Nave is the only Nave built with a kink in it? The reason is that when the Cathedral was being built they ran out of money, so for many years the cathedral sat half built, with the city being built around it. When the funds were finally raised and the cathedral was able to be finished it had to be built around the other buildings hence the kink!!
